Kamran Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad out of Pakistan Cup

 Hassan Ali has been named the captain of Central Punjab for the Pakistan Cup ODI tournament while wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal and opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad have been ruled out of the event.




After the completion of high quality matches of red ball cricket in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy first class, now the white ball cricket tournament Pakistan Cup is starting from January 8. The 33-match tournament will be played on a double league basis. The matches will be played at the three venues NBP Sports Complex, State Bank Stadium and UBL Sports Complex in Karachi.

On the other hand, the head coaches have finalized their 16-member squads, giving a chance to young cricketers, who have performed well in 2020-20.
