Tesla Launches Tent-Like Car Cover for Cybertruck

As Tesla Cybertrucks become more common, there are growing worries about EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attacks that could disable these vehicles. In response, Mission Darkness, a company based in Santa Barbara, has developed the Cybercylent tent to protect Cybertrucks from such threats.

The Cybercylent tent is made using TitanRF Faraday Fabric, which is a special type of polyester coated with nickel and copper. This fabric is designed to block harmful radiation. The tent’s construction includes adhesives, powerful neodymium magnets, and wave guides to ensure it provides airtight protection against EMPs.

The tent is supported by lightweight carbon-fiber frames, making it easy to set up and take down. Although it is branded for the Cybertruck, the tent can protect all modern vehicles from EMP attacks. This means that any car, not just Tesla Cybertrucks, can benefit from the tent’s protective features.

Tesla has already purchased several of these tents for testing purposes. They are using a neutral environment to see how well the tent works. Because the fabric blocks 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, RFID, and radio signals, it provides a comprehensive shield against many types of electronic interference.

Mission Darkness created this tent to address the potential vulnerabilities of modern vehicles to EMP attacks. As more electric and electronic cars hit the road, the need for such protection becomes more apparent. The Cybercylent tent offers a practical solution to safeguard vehicles from unexpected EMP events, ensuring they remain operational even in extreme conditions.
