Birthday Special: Allu Arjun's upcoming movies that you cannot miss out on
One of India's superstars, Allu Arjun, turns 42 today. The actor has starred in many blockbusters and continue to surprise his fans with larger-than-life performances. He made his official debut with the 2003 movie Gangotri by Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao. The 'Stylish Icon' went on to win numerous accolades for his performances over the years, including the Nandi Special Jury Awards in 2005 and 2009 for movies Arya and Paragu and a National Film Award in 2023 for Pushpa: The Rise.

Interestingly, not only has he proven himself as a successful actor but also as a talented producer like his father Allu Aravind. Arjun has consistently delivered great performances and ambitiously aimed for greater roles. In an interview with a leading media house, he discussed about his aim of delivering artistic performances in commercial cinema. He specified how he believes in the power of commercial movies that hasn't been explored much yet. "I want to pick up those kinds of stories and narratives where they have performances and great commercial moments, which I think will be very unique," Arjun added.

As the actor turns a year older today, we take a look at some of his upcoming movies that are yet to release on the silver screen.

AA21

Allu Arjun officially announced AA21, his collaboration with Koratala Shiva in 2021. The movie may as well begin shooting or release in 2024. In one of his Instagram updates, Arjun wrote, "Very much elated to announce my next film #AA21 with Koratala Shiva garu . Been looking forward for this for quite a while. My best wishes to Sudakar Garu for his 1st venture. Sandy , Swathi & Nutty this is my way of showing of my love for you guys." While fans are waiting for the movie with bated breath, there hasn't been any official update yet.

Pushpa 2: The Rule

Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the actor's highest grossing movies of his career. The movie sent shockwaves around Indian and global film industries and dominated the 2021 box office. It entertained movie lovers to the fullest, so fans are expecting the second instalment of the franchise to be as grand (if not more!) as the first one. As per several posters and promotional content of the movie, Arjun reprises the role of Pushpa Raj who is ready to rule the red sandalwood industry. Rashmika Mandanna reprises the role of Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil is playing the antagonist SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

Directed by Sukumar, the movie is slated to release on August 15, 2024.

Atlee and Allu Arjun

Birthday Special Allu Arjun's upcoming movies

Director Atlee had a fantastic 2023 with Jawaan. However, there are reports of him collaborating with Allu Arjun in his next movie! It only makes sense for the two iconic names in Indian cinema to collaborate and deliver an iconic movie. According to the same reports, the two have been in talks for a while now. However, the movie may begin filming in the last quarter of 2024. We can only expect it to be a solid entertainer.
Trivikram and Allu Arjun

Director Trivikram's next movie is with Allu Arjun - and we cannot keep calm. While the movie is expected to be filmed soon, there have been any official reports of it going on the floors. However, this movie will be the actor-director duo’s fourth collaboration after Julayi, S/o Satyamurthy, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
