Sacred Home Yoga Sanctuary
I open the great Haveli ways to the veranda that prompts the lavish nurseries where lives a heavenly Buddha form in common pink sandstone, situated with the bowl, in earth contacting mudra. The Maharaja elephant, resplendently cut in dark stone with his trunk up acquires the grandness of the days of yore. Encompassed by old oak trees and winged animals of heaven this is the view from my yoga room in my home, my consecrated space and asylum where I do my every day practice. Serene and quiet, I take in the integrity of Mother Earth and offer her my dedication.
My yoga room houses my wonderful special raised area, produced using an old Indian window, where I practice contemplation and adjust my chakras. Hand etched gods from the Vedic customs hold incredible energies. My special raised area has the Sri yantra and Shiva, the spiritualist artist, and Hanuman, the Rudra symbol of Shiva, known for his recuperating forces and his unadulterated commitment. Ganesha and Lakshmi sit on their precious stones and reverberate with my day by day aim. Photos of my Mom and Dad and the holy content of the Bhagwad Gita direct me to follow the correct way.
Mala globules of lapis lazuli hung with rudraksha, hand tied with cotton tufts, decorates Shiva and the quartz precious stone mala synchronizes with the Sri yantra. Ganesha cherishes red and administers the root chakra, the coral mala dots ground me to earth as I sit in my asana of vitality and love. I beautify the special stepped area with candles and incense and crisp blossoms, getting new vitality and love into my home and heart. Raised areas are divine communities for yoga or reflection and stimulate the space around them, bringing the reverberation of your spirit higher.
Your special raised area is an appearance of your internal soul, a declaration of your spirit and how you relate to the world. Aesthetic old world components like antique curves incorporated with the divider makes a delightful scenery for my yoga haven. Light and vaporous sari blinds unsettle in the breeze and the handloom cotton tosses on the floors are simply ideal for sitting. It's my place of comfort where I come to re-empower my profound vitality. The vitality develops and duplicates with every mantra and is reflected back to me. It's a delightful spot to reflect and look for motivation, interface with the universe and develop with the seasons.
The cut horse shelter entryways of Saraswati and Vishnu, whitewashed with unobtrusive tones of shading leaking through are a celestial satisfaction to observe. I utilized them as the entryways into my yoga asylum. Old woods are so earthing and establishing and simply observing the old carvings brings me into the unadulterated delight of celestial ecstasy.
